WARNING! Changing the appearance of SPERCO capsule products!

Dear customers and partners,

we want to inform you about important changes in our products. In connection with compliance with the latest European food safety standards in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, the color of the capsules was changed in batches of SPERCO dietary supplements. This is due to the removal of titanium dioxide (international index – E171) from their composition.

This change is caused by the legal ban on the use of titanium dioxide in food products, established by the EU Commission based on the conclusions of the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA). The corresponding regulation was introduced “Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/63 of 14 January 2022 amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the food additive titanium dioxide (E 171)” . Our legislation is harmonized with the laws of the European Union, and the jurisdiction of this resolution extends to Ukraine in accordance with Art. 30 of the Law of Ukraine “On Basic Principles and Requirements for the Safety and Quality of Food Products”.

Dietary supplements manufactured before the ban took effect may remain on the market until the date of minimum expiration date or expiration date.

Please note that batches of dietary supplements with the previous form of capsules will be available in pharmacy chains until the product balance is updated, in particular:

Cardonat Max: white-orange and red-red
Cardonat Kiddy: white-orange and red-red
Sinus Caps: green-green glossy and green-green matte
Sedasen Forte Organic: white-green and green-green matte
